We are delighted to be able to donate 7 computers to a local charity in Huddersfield The Tree of Life Centre.
The Tree of Life Centre are an accredited counselling service based in Milnsbridge, Huddersfield, helping the local community with their mental health issues. They provide this service on a donation’s basis, ensuring it is affordable and accessible to all, and see over 150 people per year. They also have their own counsellor training programme, with courses from Award to Diploma level, which gives people the necessary skills to become counsellors, as well as hiring their rooms and sports hall out to other professionals and organisations.
Lee Crossland – General Manager said “The donated computers would allow us to replace our older equipment, which is over 10 years old, very slow and running obsolete software. This gift means we are able to better support our staff, reducing their stress with PCs which work effectively and enable them to work more efficiently to support our service users.”
